Mock Draft Wednesday: 1 Day Till the Draft!
Time for another mock draft? We're doing a countdown until the NFL Draft with a mock draft each day! So, tune in at sometime each day to find more approaches the Panthers could take next in this year's draft. This mock draft was done using NFL Mock Draft Database.
Y'all, I'm so excited for the draft tomorrow! Just letting you know, I will be releasing a full 32 team 7 round mock draft tomorrow with analysis through the first two or three rounds. Let's get started!
Round 1 Pick 28: Jeff Gladney CB TCU
Panthers receive #28, 60, 92, 134, 2021 2nd; Ravens receive #7
To me, Gladney is probably the 4th best corner in this class only because of how deep the class is this year. Panthers get a potential No. 1 lockdown corner who will help fill the void left by James Bradberry this offseason. The only concern with Jeff for me is his height at 5'10. However, I think Gladney's alpha mentality could mask the doubts if his performance backs it up (ie. Donte Jackson).
Round 2 Pick 38: Noah Igbinoghene CB Auburn
Panthers double dip at corner after finding a room barren of talent, save for one young and speedy Donte Jackson. Noah is a converted wide receiver who once was offered by many DI schools to be their pass catcher. Hopefully, his ball skills will carry over to the NFL. Igbinoghene is one of my favorite picks for the Panthers in the second round.
